This information is maintained by mailchimp.com in a contacts list within their server – we access this list through the web-based Mailchimp dashboard only. We do not process your email further, do not download it and do not share it with any third party (e.g. with brands).

We will use your email address to email you The Style Diary newsletter which may contain direct or indirect marketing material (for example, sponsored posts about interiors products and brands and brand advertisements).

When you subscribe to receive the newsletter, you consent to receive this marketing information which forms part of this website. If you do not wish to receive such marketing information, you should not subscribe to the newsletter. You can continue to use the website freely, without subscribing to the newsletter.

If you are subscribed to the newsletter and wish to unsubscribe, an ‘unsubscribe’ button is available at the bottom of all newsletters sent by The Style Diary.

2. Your Name

This is only in relation to comments on posts; this could be just a first name only (not identifiable data), first and last name, alias (not identifiable data) or initials (not identifiable data) and/or your email address. We do not process this data further and do not store it. This data is stored by Squarespace.

3. Technical Data

The Style Diary website uses Google Analytics, a service that transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, small text files placed on your computer, to collect standard internet log and visitor behaviour information in an anonymous form. Google Analytics does not identify personal information or individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage. The Style Diary does not hold or process this data – enquiries about the processing of technical data should be addressed to Google. 

Legal Basis For Processing Your Information

You do not have to subscribe to the newsletter in order to access www.thestylediary.co.uk but if you have indicated (where you have subscribed) that you are interested in receiving regular updates, we, therefore, have your consent in supplying you with these regular communications. You can unsubscribe at any time.
