The Gustav Klimt Exhibition is coming to London after seeing much success in various cities across the US.
This 360º all-immersive digital art exhibition is a visual sensation of the most iconic and spectacular pieces of art from one of history's greatest artists.
-
Gustav Klimt (July 14, 1862 - February 6, 1918) was an Austrian symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Art Nouveau (Vienna Secession) movement.
His works include paintings, sketches and murals, and the subject primarily focused on the female body where his drawings in pencil were particularly erotic in nature.
Gustav Klimt’s most compelling works such as ‘The Kiss’, ‘The Tree of Life’ and ‘Judith’ have been re-created through “cutting-edge technology” and “exquisite storytelling”.
In addition to the central area where Klimt’s works are digitally projected in a 20,000 square foot light and sound spectacular that stretches from floor to ceiling, you can also experience separate galleries that chronicle his life, influence and techniques through interactive and informative panels.
Probably the most immersive component of the exhibition is the unique ten-minute VR experience, affectionately named “A day in the life of the Artist”.
You’ll get to ‘walk alongside Klimt’ on a visually-rich journey to discover the inspiration behind eight of his iconic works.
